Agile Capital Advisory

Capabilities

What we are hired to do.

Six practice areas. Most engagements draw on three or four of them, because the problem rarely respects the boundary.

01

Financial Planning & Analysis

Forecasts that hold up under challenge, and the narrative that explains them to a CFO in one page. We build driver-based models grounded in the actual economics of the business — product trends, pricing, funding cost, credit assumptions — rather than a trended prior year.

Driver-based forecasting Multi-scenario planning Budget & outlook cycles Executive reporting Profitability & cost analysis Balance sheet & NII KPI frameworks

Typical deliverables

  • Rebuilt forecast model with documented drivers and assumption governance
  • Scenario library quantifying trade-offs for planning committees
  • Standardised executive reporting pack and commentary framework
02

Finance Transformation & Operating Model

Where the finance function should sit, what it should own, and how work moves through it. We redesign process and org together, because changing one without the other produces a new diagram and the same cycle time.

Target operating model Organisation design Process redesign Close cycle compression Reporting rationalisation Automation Governance & controls

Typical deliverables

  • Current-state assessment with quantified capacity and cycle-time baseline
  • Target operating model and phased transition roadmap
  • Redesigned close and reporting calendar with owner-level accountability
03

Finance Systems & EPM

Platform selection, implementation, and the recovery of implementations that have stalled. We work as the translation layer between Finance and Technology — the role that determines whether a planning platform becomes an asset or an expensive second spreadsheet.

Anaplan OneStream Oracle / Hyperion Essbase SAP Workday Power BI Tableau GL & ledger migration Data architecture & ETL Master data governance

Typical deliverables

  • Platform evaluation and business case with vendor-neutral scoring
  • Business requirements, solution design and delivery oversight
  • Data sourcing, transformation and reconciliation architecture
04

Regulatory, Capital & Stress Testing

Capital planning and regulatory reporting for US and foreign banking organisations. We have sat on both sides of review-and-challenge — building the forecast, and testing someone else's — and have presented to US regulators on control adequacy and remediation progress.

CCAR / DFAST Resolution & recovery planning Basel / RWA FR Y-14A/Q FR Y-9C Reg YY / Heightened Standards IHC / FBO / CUSO Model documentation & validation SOX controls MRA / MRIA remediation

Typical deliverables

  • Multi-year capital forecast with supporting governance documentation
  • Regulatory gap and impact assessment against category-specific requirements
  • Review-and-challenge framework and 1LoD / 2LoD evidence packs
05

AI & Analytics Enablement

AI in finance fails on governance far more often than on capability. We identify the use cases that survive a control environment, size the return before the build, and take the successful ones through to enterprise adoption rather than leaving them as a pilot.

Use-case identification ROI & value realisation Agentic AI for finance ops Self-service analytics Data strategy AI governance Adoption & scaling

Typical deliverables

  • Prioritised use-case portfolio with quantified benefit and control assessment
  • Working pilot delivered against real finance data and processes
  • Scaling plan in partnership with the enterprise AI and Technology functions
06

Program Leadership & Change

Multi-year, cross-functional programs with real regulatory or reporting deadlines attached. We have run these with teams of up to fifty across business, engineering and architecture — and we take the change management as seriously as the Gantt chart.

Program & PMO leadership Agile delivery JIRA / Confluence Business requirements Vendor & third-party management Program KPIs Adoption & training

Typical deliverables

  • Program structure, governance forums and escalation paths
  • Requirements, design sign-off and delivery tracking against KPIs
  • Change and adoption plan with measured uptake, not assumed uptake

Engagement models

Three ways to bring us in.

Scope, duration and commercial terms are set per engagement. We will tell you early if a mandate is outside what we can credibly lead.

A

Advisory

A defined question with a defined answer: an assessment, a target operating model, a platform evaluation, a regulatory gap analysis. Typically six to twelve weeks.

B

Program delivery

We lead the program end to end — requirements through implementation and adoption — working alongside your teams and existing vendors. Typically multi-quarter.

C

Interim leadership

Senior finance capacity for a transition, a vacancy, or a cycle you need to get through: FP&A leadership, a CCAR cycle, a systems go-live.

Engage us

Start with the problem, not the scope document.

Describe what is not working. We will tell you whether we are the right practice for it.
